During World War II he fought with French aviation on dangerous missions, especially on Arras, in May 1940.Le Petit Prince, in Spanish, The Little Prince, was undoubtedly his most famous book. An illustrated poetic narrative in which he recounts his misfortune as he was stranded in the middle of the desert, where he meets the prince, a child from a small asteroid who eventually become friends. In many ways, The Little Prince emphasizes social criticism and the adult world. An asteroid was named Saint-Exupéry in 1975 in honor of its worldwide recognition.
